The photographer, me, demurred from lying in the water to take the shot and hence the photo shows Ian pretty much out of the water. However, the Windpipe is 10m. long or more and you can expect to get pretty wet in here. On occasion, it's sumped and has to be bailed out to be passable. It is definitely not free-diveable in that condition.
