This was the evening before one of my favourite days climbing in the Alps. I prefer to bivvy, rather than stay in huts, as I can sleep better and waking up is more inspiring; the downside is that I don't much like carrying lots of gear. Regardless, this was a great place to spend the night and a brilliant view of the route for the next day.
